Adam thanks everyone for picking up a copy of his book, but don't stop now! Adam wants to get on the NY Times Bestseller List, and as he points out, 'it does involve selling books.' Adam also welcomes Shira Lazar to the show to fill in for the news, who talks about the smartest cities in the country, and a guy who used Jeffrey Dahmer to get out of jury duty. Adam also goes on a rant about his controversial comment regarding homosexuality and raising children.

Rob Schneider comes on the line, disagreeing with some of Adam's sentiments about homosexuality. They also have some serious political talk about financial regulations and the psychology of the American people. Adam also asks Rob about his spirituality, and two talk about the interconnectedness of humanity.

Ed Asner and his son Matt join the show. Adam talks with the legendary actor about his work on The Mary Tyler Moore show, and his exciting new renaissance in films like Pixar's Up. The guys also talk about raising twins (his son Matt has a twin sister), and also Ed's early career leaving NY and moving to LA. Matt talks about his new documentary about Jewish cantors and post-war life in Poland. Things also take a more serious turn as Ed offers his thoughts on the Holocaust, and Western reactions during that time period.

Heading into the final part of the news, Shira reads off The Top 10 Most Inappropriate Places to Flirt. After some commentary about meeting people at work, Adam talks about his experience working with Joe Rogan. They talk about the sad state of people attracted to other people's misery, and Adam brings up a number of disturbing viral videos. Wrapping up the show, Adam talks to Ed about his thoughts on 9/11 and other potential American conspiracies.

Adam’s back from New York, and hanging at Happy Endings Bar with Bill Simmons and Cousin Sal. Adam gives an insight into his schedule, detailing an amazing 24-hours of back to back work. Adam also talks about his opening act, Josh Gardner, and the drama surrounding his performance on The Today Show.

After a bit of football talk to humor Cousin Sal, Adam has a complaint he wants to get off his chest. He talks about hot chicks with attitude problems, and goes into more depth about the ‘pussy power rankings.’

Actor and comedian David Koechner joins the show and officially welcomes Adam back to the West Coast. They spend some time talking about filming movies in Canada, and Adam rants about the economics of the film industry here in the US. He also talks with David about growing up surrounded by turkey coops and trying to make it into the biz.

David tries to pump Adam up about enjoying performing live. He talks about the communal experience of podcasting and attempts to show Adam how listeners and audience members just want to hang out with him. Adam attempts to analyze the psychological experience of performing live, and David begins the ‘Let Adam Love Himself’ campaign.

Adam opens with a discussion of his kids’ Halloween Parade, which he just returned from. He talks about the ridiculous amount of attention the parents spend on their kids, even though the kids are clearly uncomfortable. Dr. Drew talks about the importance of a parent’s idealized view of their child, and how things can fall apart if they don’ t meet their expectations.

Adam asks Dr. Drew about some of the new cast members of Celebrity Rehab and wonders when guys got to be so sensitive. They talk a bit more about the Jim Breuer controversy, and Adam also goes into a jag about unattractive women who are also Olympic Champions.

Jumping into listener phone calls, Dr. Drew shares his thoughts about Obama’s medical reforms. Adam talks about people getting sick all around him, even though he never does, and complains about the prevalence of Purell.

The guys also take a call from David Alan Grier. DAG continues to tease Dr. Drew for missing his play in NY, and talks about hanging out with Adam in the city.  Will Dr. Drew and DAG bury the hatchet? Listen and find out!

Adam opens with various complains about Los Angeles, including the idea of having every random phone number answered by every random language.  He also takes a call about the success of the growing ACE Broadcasting Network, and talks about how happy he is to not be on terrestrial radio.

Another listener call involves building codes in Southern California, and Adam goes on a huge rant related to Joel McHale trying to build a pool at his house and not being able to. He also complains about ‘asswipe politicians’ who say they’re concerned about safety, but really only care about your wallet.

A few more listener calls involve Ralph Garmin’s new show, and Adam gives very straightforward advice on how to make it in the podcast biz. Adam also talks about the joys of Seattle, and hears a story from someone who bumped into Huell Howser.

One caller wants to know about Adam’s workout schedule, and Adam talks about finding his rhythm and balance, and listening to rock songs while he jump ropes. Adam also answers a couple car questions, and gives advice on how to make the most of your purchase.

The final calls also revolve around a number of topics. One guy pitches Adam a new pilot idea, and another gets Adam ranting about the differences between LA homeless people and Portland homeless people. Adam also complains about LA traffic, breaking traffic light rules, and the billions being lost due to citizens not being productive.

Since the election will already be over by the time to hear/read this, the focus of the podcast is Wins and Losses for comedy-- not concerned about political parties. Filling in for Adam is Greg Fitzsimmons, and along with him is political commentator extraordinaire, Teresa Strasser. Greg's friend Mike Gibbons is in the room, and Bald Bryan's on the sound board.

Jumping into the election, many of the races are too close to call at the time of recording. They review the tightest races, watch a couple video clips, and comment on the wave of wins the Republicans seem to be having. They also talk about the release of their upcoming books, and some of the crazier candidates.

Greg and Teresa chat about California's Prop 19, abortion rights, and the morality of masturbation. Wrapping up the podcast, they take a couple of listener calls who touch on the delicacies of politics and the end of Arnold Schwarzenegger's run. The guys also plug their upcoming book tours, and talk about the problems of securing blurbs for the back cover.

In Fifty Years We'll All Be Chicks is officially out! Adam sits down to talk with writer Mike Lynch, who essentially helped Adam write the book for free. Mike talks about the privilege of working with Adam, and they go through their daily routine and writing process.

Adam says that the books contain very concise, final versions of his rants; but also says there's a ton of new material you've never heard before. Mike compliments Adam on his ability to make all the comedy bits seem fresh, and Adam is pleased with how well everything came out.

Adam and Mike go into the roots of the book and also talk about the book's editor. Mike also lists off a couple alternate titles for the book and talks with Adam extensively about the Thank You section. Adam also takes a bunch of listener calls, and Mike reminds everyone to make sure Adam's book outsells The Situation's.

In today's Stitcher Extra Content, Adam has a conversation with a close friend of Alec Baldwin.  http://landing.stitcher.com/?srcid=428

Recorded on Halloween at the Happy Endings Bar on Sunset. Adam talks football with Cousin Sal and Kevin Hench. Adam also talks about signing book plates for his upcoming book, and trying to explain his kids’ Halloween costumes to his dad.

Adam talks more about doing book interviews with bitchy reporters, then mentions Cousin Sal’s upcoming Halloween bit on Jimmy Kimmel Live. Adam complains about shitty Halloween candy and wonders about razor blade apples. They also question the creepy adults who dress in costumes, and make fun of Child’s Play.

The beautiful Jill Wagner comes to the show, talking about her roots in North Carolina. Adam reflects on a particularly miserable travel experience there, and talks with her about fat Midwesterners and fat people in the radio biz. Adam also chats with Jill about her experience as ‘The Mercury Girl’ and gives her advice for buying a car.

Adam and Jill talk about her work on the hit TV show Wipeout, and the pros and cons of working outside. Jill talks about her relationship with her Dad as well; teaching her to shoot guns and warding off crazy ex-girlfriends.
