Norm Pattiz joins Adam for this intraductory episode to Take a Knee. Adam begins by asking Norm about the creation of his first company, Westwood One. Then the two get into their similar upbringings in Los Angeles and where the two went to school. After that, they have a lengthy discussion on the difference between success and financial success. Then, Norm tells his story about working at The Coconut Grove Hotel when Bobby Kennedy was shot. Finally, Adam gets into Norm's success story originating from a job at local TV station KCOP and eventually chronicling his time through radio and ending on his creation of Podcast One.

Is there an RSS link for the Premium TAK 011 show? I did the paid subscription. I would like to play this in my DoggCatcher podcast app.

    Thank you,
Keep up the great work. Love your podcast!

Thank you for offering this new format. The background stories of the guests really help to show that you never know where the next ten years may take you, or how the next person you meet could effect your life the most. I am always fascinated by path successful people have in life, and how is it often their drive that has gotten them there.

I'm sure the content is great and I'm sure I will love every episode that I have yet to hear, but why is this not already ready to be placed on an mp3 device considering we have paid for this and it eats up data on our cell phone plans? (I doubt anyone has the time to listen to this playing from the computer on a regular basis.) Hopefully you good folks at Carolla Digital are working on making this more convenient for us listeners that had hoped it would be available for listeners that are on the go.
