Adam is in pain right now because of a dance-related incident at home with the family. Alison then jumps right into the news, announcing the Sledgehammer Studio Hijack tomorrow at the studio. The guys also chat about Charlie Sheen, and the latest person kicked off of Celebrity Rehab. Adam also talks about getting Jimmy to smell a massive fart.

 

Also in the news is the world’s youngest grandmother, and a casting announcement for who’s slated to play Sarah Palin in an upcoming HBO movie. Adam also talks about his terrible hairstyle back in the day, and goes on a rant against people who use Purell and open doors with their feet.

 

Bobcat Goldthwait then joins the stage, showing the real photo of his driver’s license. He also talks about a near-death experience on an airplane, and tells stories from his days opening for Nirvana. The guys also talk more about non-addicts on Celebrity Rehab, and Adam perfectly summarizes the Reality TV genre.

 

Bobcat talks about his new Showtime special, which he’s very excited to be recording next week. Adam compliments his feature film directing, then flashes back to several Man Show clips, which Bobcat also directed. Wrapping things up, Adam takes audience suggestions for a hilarious round of What Can’t Adam Complain About.

Adam opens the show with Larry Miller in studio, and Adam teases his nanny Olga for her pronunciation problems. He also discusses his man-date with Bill Simmons, from the box office to the concession stand to the movie itself.

 

Alison then jumps in the news with the sad story of former Alice In Chains bassist Mike Starr passing away today. Adam talks about his experience meeting the band on Loveline, and shares some thoughts about how quickly life goes by. Alison also shares a chapter from her upcoming memoirs. Before Larry heads out, a round of Blah Blah Blog ensues.

 

Mr. Skin comes to the couch next, and Adam talks to him about how he runs his website without getting in trouble. Adam also discusses how his kids are going to be over-exposed to nudity, and the guys recall the days when they could barely catch a boob on TV. Adam also talks about being lured by a porno, and Mr. Skin lists off some actresses he’s still waiting to see nude.

 

The guys then play some clips from the winners of the 12th Annual Anatomy Awards. Categories include Nude-comer of the year, Best Lesbian Scene, and a discussion of the best example of Nudity in 2010. Alison wraps the show with news stories ranging from Pork’s new slogan, Subways new spot as the most expansive restaurant chain, and an alleged kidnapping that was actually an intervention.

Adam opens the show excited for his man-date to see Drive Angry with Bill Simmons. Adam also talks about being frustrated at parents who support their children, and gets a few jabs in toward Alison and Bill. Alison then opens the news with Dr. Drew doing an impression of Adam.

 

Also in the news is the official announcement that Charlie Sheen has been fired from Two and a Half Men. They also talk about the feud between Sarah Palin and Kathy Griffin, and the story of a guy who assaulted his mother-in-law in a fold-out couch. The guys also listen to a section of Adam’s book, where Adam rants about the hair in MASH.

 

Tonight’s guest is Michael Showalter. The guys talk about his old sketch group, The State, which did a skit about Adam’s (and the show’s) agent, Babydoll Dixon. The guys watch the clip, and also chat about Michael’s new book, ‘Mr. Funny Pants.’ 

 

Next up is a few rounds of Made Up Movie, followed by a discussion of the day Adam found out about Bald Bryan’s brain tumor. Adam also talks to Michael about being a bitter person, and how to channel that energy into something not negative. Wrapping up the show, the guys chat about handsome movie stars that pop out less attractive children.

Adam returns to the studio fresh off a weekend on the road. He goes into a rant about the disgruntled TSA officers, and questions why his first class ticket doesn’t buy him a little extra courtesy. He also talks about an airport celebrity sighting, and jokes about a TSA poster he saw leaving Miami.

 

Dr. Bruce (aka Dr. Spazz) joins the program and talks with the group about the dangers of cocaine. They talk a bit about the amount Charlie Sheen claims to have taken, and Dr. Bruce attempts to diagnose his mental state. Adam also rants about Martin Sheen’s stance on nuclear power plants.

 

Jumping into the news, Alison adds more the discussion of Charlie Sheen. She had an exclusive interview with the producers of his new Ustream show, and the guys watch clips from his first episode. Before Dr. Bruce heads out, he talks to Adam about the realities of baby helmets.

 

Producer Peter Guber joins the show next. Adam talks to him about how he gets his motor to work so much and if he was always like that. Peter also discusses his relationship with his family, and how he broke into the industry. The guys also chat about his book, which chronicles some of the lessons he’s learned in the industry over the past 35+ years.

 

In the last section of the show, Adam pitches his new basketball movie idea. Peter also finds out what inspires Adam to make this particular story come to life, and the guys share their love of basketball and the film Breaking Away. Wrapping things up, Peter explains to Alison how he ultimately became better at telling to win.

Adam chats with Jerry about how he deals with raising twins. Jerry compliments Adam on his book, and the guys trade stories about getting free shit and having it collect in the car. Jerry also talks about being the fat kid and how he eventually lost the weight. It reminds Adam of his Pop Warner days, and growing up obsessed with food.

 

Next, Adam and Jerry share their love of Trader Joes, and Jerry explains how it helped save his wedding. The guys then go on a rant about over-expensive lotions and why Adam never uses shampoo.

 

After a quick break, the guys discuss weird pizza toppings and the foods not allowed in the O’Connell household. Adam also gives some fitness advice and talks with Jerry about the whole new world of podcasting. There’s also some talk about Jerry’s debut performance in the film Stand By Me, and the guys wrap the show talking about working in the industry and staying motivated.

Adam opens the show with a complaint about the hipster on his flight to Dallas. Mike Lynch chimes in and Adam teases him about his luggage tags. Alison also talks about a dream she had that Adam was in, and everyone checks in with Blastergirl, still live in Israel. 

 

In the news today, the Supreme Court said the 1st amendment would allow for the Westboro Baptist Church to protest funerals. They also hear the latest from Charlie Sheen, and Alison reveals a study about how bladder levels can affect your decision-making skills.

 

After a round of Know Your SH, Adam brings in tonight’s guests: Nick Santora and Dan Dratch.  Nick and Dan talk about how they met, and Dan and Adam reflect on their writer’s room days on The Man Show. The guys also talk about the new series Breakout Kings, and discuss the show’s history.

 

In the last segment of the show, the group watches a couple old clips from The Man Show that Dan wrote, and listen to a couple tracks from Josh Gardner’s soon-to-be-released album, Mr. Stinkfinger.

Adam opens the show discussing his day in court trying to take care of a fix-it ticket. He also welcomes Larry Miller to the show, who offers his thoughts on Kim Kardashian and eating food off a chick. After that, the guys check back in with Blaster Girl, reporting live from Israel.

 

After discussing the continued trouble in the Middle East, the group watches a clip from the latest Charlie Sheen antics. In this case, a tour of ‘Sober Valley Lodge,’ along with Charlie’s live-in ‘goddesses.’ They also listen to an exclusive clip from The Film Vault, where special guest Michael Biehn chimes in on Sheen’s sanity. Before Larry heads out, he attempts another round of the Hypothetical Road Trip Game. 

 

Today’s guest is Lights Out star Holt McCallany. Adam compliments his great energy, and Holt talks about his schooling in Ireland and relationship with his parents. He also talks about running away from home to become an actor, only to find himself scraping by at a screwdriver factory. Holt also brings out a pair of boxing gloves and focus pads, and he and Adam exchange jabs.

 

Back to the news, Alison reveals that the breast milk ice cream shop she discussed at last week’s live show has been shut down. Also in disgusting food news, a Philly pizza shop owner got busted trying to sabotage the competition with bags of mice. Wrapping the show, the animal news gets Adam talking about his first dog Lotzi.

Adam’s excited about both of tonight’s guests. Calling in later is baseball legend Dave Bresnahan; a minor league catcher who threw a potato in the middle of a game to trick the runner. Adam recalls watching it happen on The Sports Machine, and goes on a jag about the host, George Michael.

 

After Alison runs through the new Dancing with the Stars lineup, Adam takes Dave’s call. They chat about how Dave originally came up with the idea, and how he was able to successfully execute it. They also talk about the immediate aftermath of the stunt, and Adam calls him a baseball hero.

 

Comedian Jim Florentine comes to the show next, and Adam plays a hilarious Crank Yankers clip that featured Jim’s belching character, Bobby Fletcher. Adam also talks to Jim about how he was discovered, and the guys give tips for making great prank calls.

 

Adam then dives into Jim’s background, finding out more about his time dating Robin Quivers, and what he did prior to getting his break and doing stand-up. Later, Adam shares his own thoughts on performing stand-up, and the guys explain the definition of hate-fucking to Alison.

 

Alison picks back up with the news, mostly focusing on the most recent Charlie Sheen antics. Adam and Jim also exchange Rodney Dangerfield stories, and Alison wraps up the show with a post-Oscar news story about how The King’s Speech is helping to raise awareness about stuttering.
