First up, Adam sits down for a quick phone call with former Daily Show correspondent Rob Riggle. During the call, the guys talk about the new webseries Rob hosts: The AXE Dirtcathlon. Adam thinks it’s remarkable that we’re the only species that chooses to get dirty for fun, and talks to Rob about his transition from being a Marine to being on The Daily Show. The guys also talk about the ‘jock bias’ they’ve both experienced on set.
Things then transition to last night’s performance at the Irvine Improv. Adam is ready to welcome Christopher Titus, but first spends some time discussing his weekend in San Francisco. More specifically, Adam talks about an aggravating meal at the House of Nanking, and also his experience seeing a gay flag at half-mast. Adam also rants about his Subway breakfast sandwich, and brings Titus out to talk about some rough performing experiences over the last couple days.
Moving into the news with Alison, Sarah Palin has officially apologized for taking some press away from the day Mit Romney announced his run for presidency. Titus talks about just wanting to have a normal guy as president, and Adam suggests an emotionless robot for the job. The guys also watch a clip of Palin trying to explain the story of Paul Revere, and then the guys try to recall the story themselves.
Another news story sends Adam on a rant about how difficult it is to open plastic packaging. The guys also talk about the passing of Dr. Kevorkian by natural causes, and the idea of assisted suicide. The final news story raises the question, ‘Are Smurfs racist?’ The show wraps up with a round of What Can’t Adam Complain About, where the audience member who challenges Adam the most gets a free poster.
