Adam returns to the studio fresh off a weekend on the road. He goes into a rant about the disgruntled TSA officers, and questions why his first class ticket doesn’t buy him a little extra courtesy. He also talks about an airport celebrity sighting, and jokes about a TSA poster he saw leaving Miami.
Dr. Bruce (aka Dr. Spazz) joins the program and talks with the group about the dangers of cocaine. They talk a bit about the amount Charlie Sheen claims to have taken, and Dr. Bruce attempts to diagnose his mental state. Adam also rants about Martin Sheen’s stance on nuclear power plants.
Jumping into the news, Alison adds more the discussion of Charlie Sheen. She had an exclusive interview with the producers of his new Ustream show, and the guys watch clips from his first episode. Before Dr. Bruce heads out, he talks to Adam about the realities of baby helmets.
Producer Peter Guber joins the show next. Adam talks to him about how he gets his motor to work so much and if he was always like that. Peter also discusses his relationship with his family, and how he broke into the industry. The guys also chat about his book, which chronicles some of the lessons he’s learned in the industry over the past 35+ years.
In the last section of the show, Adam pitches his new basketball movie idea. Peter also finds out what inspires Adam to make this particular story come to life, and the guys share their love of basketball and the film Breaking Away. Wrapping things up, Peter explains to Alison how he ultimately became better at telling to win.
