This leads into a discussion on the detriments of the victim mentality. Then Arthur talks about the current stigma attached to both the Democrats and Republicans in todays society. Before they wrap, Adam and Arthur revisit the value of hard work and what makes people truly happy or satisfied in life.

Adam is joined this week by musician Lisa Loeb and the pair open the show discussing the history of their interactions and how when people stay in the same business for decades it can be fun to see the arch of a persons career & personal life. Adam and Lisa go on to discuss Lisa’s path through the music and entertainment industries that have evolved into including an eyewear line and much more while still pursuing her first passion, music.

Michael Imperioli of 'The Sopranos' fame joins Adam for this episode of Take A Knee. Adam opens the show talking to Michael about his upbringing in New York and what got him into acting. Then, Adam asks Michael about his time getting casted and working on The Sopranos. This leads into Michael talking more about his writing career, as well as his endeavors in theater production. Later, Adam asks Michael about his day to day activities during his off time. 

Jerry Springer joins Adam and opens the show talking about being born in England during WWII, his family members that were killed in concentration camps, and immigrating to the US. This leads into a discussion on modern day terrorism, ISIS, and the refugee crisis. After that, Jerry talks about his time in high school and college where a much lesser degree of anti semitism continued in different ways.  As the show wraps up, Adam has Jerry tell him the story of how ‘The Jerry Springer Show’ came to be.

Former Judge and District Attorney Jeanine Pirro joins Adam for this week’s episode of Take A Knee. The show opens with Adam and Jeanine talking about Jeanine’s attempted prosecution of Robert Durst, who’s life was recently highlighted by the HBO documentary series ‘The Jinx’.   Adam also asks Jeanine for her opinion on what may end up happening with Bill Cosby given the number of accusers that have come forward.

West Point alumnus and former active duty Army platoon leader Jordan Garrett joins Adam on this week’s episode of Take A Knee.  Adam and Jordan discuss his familial military history before getting into his time at West Point and his eventual deployment to Iraq where his West Point graduating class lost the most graduates since the Vietnam War.  They also discuss the state of soldiers returning home and how the United States Government is treating their Veterans.

Air Force Captain and 3-time Super Bowl champion Chad Hennings joins Adam for this episode of Take A Knee. Adam opens the show asking Chad about character, where it's going with todays youth and how to instill it into people. Then, Adam asks Chad about his time flying A-10 Warthogs in the US Air Force before entering the NFL. Adam and Chad talk about nature vs nurture, and how a more nature driven influence will better impact someone's character growing up. Before they wrap, Adam talks about the lack of government initiative in attempting to fix broken families vs broadly blaming the system as a whole.

Actor, Writer & Producer Jay Duplass joins Adam on this week’s Take A Knee to talk about his life trying to make it in Hollywood including the process of making his most recent project ‘Manson Family Vacation’ which Jay produced and stars in. The guys also talk about the general state of the entertainment industry and what it takes to have prolonged success given the fickle nature of the business and critics who may not understand what it is you’re trying to do.

5-time US presidential president candidate Ralph Nader joins Adam for this episode of Take A Knee. Adam opens the show talking to Ralph about his upbringing in Connecticut working in textile mills and his father's restaurant. This leads into a conversation about how Ralph got into politics and law by attending town hall meetings and referendums. After that, Adams talks to Ralph about his early start in politics and the effect he had on the automotive industry, particularly in regards to their safety standards. As the show wraps up the pair discuss the impending Presidential election and current state of American politics.

Vinnie Tortorich joins Adam for this episode of Take A Knee. Adam opens the show talking to Vinnie about healthy eating and fitness. Then Adam asks Vinnie about his upbringing in Louisiana playing football and selling fireworks. After that they talk about the inherent reward in working hard to get what you want vs being handed things in life.

Eric Stonestreet joins Adam for this episode of Take A Knee. Adam opens the show talking to Eric about his upbringing on a farm in Kansas. Then Adam talks to Eric about where he got his strong work ethic from. After that, Eric talks about his desire to be a clown growing up and getting rejected from Ringing Brother's Clown College twice. Then they talk about how to be happy in life by figuring out exactly what you want to do and not being to beholden to one type of work. Before they wrap, Eric talks about getting cast for Modern Family and working on the show.

Adam is joined this week by movie reviewer and former host of ‘At The Movies’ Richard Roeper for a discussion about breaking into show business and how Richard went from a low level employee at a Chicago newspaper to the nationally respected film critic he is today.  Adam and Richard talk extensively about the importance of working for free and having passion for whatever it is you want to eventually get paid for long before the money comes. The pair also discuss how even those who are lucky enough to make it in their dream field are often confronted with the industry changing in dramatic ways, but those who have the hustle and drive to succeed with figure out a way to adapt and thrive in the new environment.
