Live from the Jon Lovitz Comedy Club, Adam opens the show complaining about constantly being interviewed about Dr. Drew’s successes. Alison then goes into the audience to take questions from the crowd, and Adam launches into a rant about lobsters. Bald Bryan also plays a song that triggers Adam’s harshest breakup, and Adam talks about which actors run the worst in Hollywood.
Tonight’s guest is comedian Lisa Ann Walter, who crosses her legs and reminds Adam of Dr. Drew’s same girly habit. The group also discusses Dr. Drew’s sex appeal, and Adam talks about snake wrangler who visited his house today. Adam and Lisa also exchange crazy animal stories about their dogs.
Before jumping into the news, The Tournament of Rosen winner is revealed. Adam talks with him about potential date ideas, and Lisa chimes in with some romantic advice. The guys also discuss Osama Bin Laden’s pot plants, the origins of Cinco De Mayo, and the problems with cockfighting the US.
Also in the news is a guy who got stoned off of bath salts and murdered some baby goats, but Adam is more concerned about the comparative qualities of corn and baby corn. Adam imagines a conversation with St. Peter and talks about how he thinks he might go. Alison also gives an update on Lindsay Lohan, and Lisa recalls her experience working with her as a child actress. The show wraps with news of Mariah Carey’s twins, and Adam talks about being the most p-whipped nation with the best military.

At the top of the show, Adam welcomes Andy Dick back to the show Adam tells a story from the early days of the podcast, when Andy smoked a cigar and Donny kept it as a souvenir. Andy also talks about the past drama with Jon Lovitz, and brings everyone up to speed on his arrest several nights ago. Adam hears his side of the story, and also talks to him about his new football comedy, Division III.
Next up, Adam welcomes actress Sheryl Lee Ralph to the couch. The guys joke about whether or not they’ve met before, and Adam talks to her about her Tony nomination for the Broadway show, Dreamgirls. Adam also talks to her about getting the right representation in the biz, and Sheryl talks about writing her first book.
Adam jokingly relates to the struggles of being a black actress in Hollywood, and goes on a side jag about women’s hair. Sheryl and Alison give Adam a hard time about not growing his own hair out, so he shows a family photo from his youth and takes everyone through the unsmiling faces. He also gives a PSA to parents who act depressed in front of their kids.
The guys then dive into the earlier career of Sheryl, and she talks about making it as an actress even though her mom wanted her to be a doctor or lawyer. The conversation then steers toward social issues, and the group discusses why a larger dialogue needs to take place about the education problem in this country. As the show wraps up, Adam calls Donny on the mic to discuss the horrible education they both received going through High School, even though Sheryl doesn’t believe the stories.

It’s been a whole day since Adam saw a snake, so he’s feeling pretty good. He talks with Alison and Bryan about why sitcoms fail, and compares running a studio to managing a football team. He also goes on a rant about focus groups, and wonders why we even need executives at all.
Into the news with Alison, there are people concerned that Osama Bin Laden’s death is a conspiracy. Adam stands by his stance that waterboarding works, and says it’s completely appropriate to celebrate when evil dies. Alison also mentions a teacher who wouldn’t shave until Osama was found, and Adam jokes about his own silent-but-deadly protest. There’s also a side jag about Pegasus poop, and Adam talks about Ron Jeremy getting fat while having an on-camera career.
Comedian Matt Walsh comes in next, and jokes with Adam about swimming in the Playboy grotto. The guys also talk about foam soap, and Adam complains about the magic eye dispensers in the bathroom that don’t always work. Adam also talks with Matt about his experience in The Hangover, and the guys discuss the very revealing performance of Ken Jeong.
After a discussion about Matt’s new film, Alison goes back into the news with the story of Andy Dick’s arrest. Adam and Matt also act out how Adam trains his wife to answer the phone, and the guys talk about Anne Hathaway’s overly enthusiastic attitude toward everything.

Adam talks about killing yet another rattlesnake outside his house today. He tells the story of his dog Molly’s run-in, and explains that since then, just in the last couple days, he’s come across three more. He also rants about his kids’ motorized cars, and talks with Larry Miller about the problems with catching and taming animals.
In the news, more details have been coming out about Osama Bin Laden’s death. Alison talks about the compound he was found in, and the ‘surgical raid’ that went on inside. Adam talks about using your wife as a human shield, and also sends a message to all his pussy friends on the left who were concerned about creating terrorists by fighting back. Alison also reads off some of the conspiracy theories surrounding his death, and Adam makes fun of not-so-menacing movie lines.
Next up, Tom Arnold comes in studio and talks about his co-stars in the new film ‘Brother’s Justice’. Adam then recalls a story that Tom once told on the radio show about approaching the man who molested him as a kid, and Tom retells how the second encounter went down. The guys also talk about Tom’s relationship with his mother, and Adam rants about women who voluntarily abandon their kids.
On a lighter note, Tom recalls a feud he got into with some of the Seinfeld cast after somebody parked in his parking spot. The guys wrap the show discussing their various celebrity sightings at Jimmy Kimmel’s last party, and Adam talks with Tom about his sobriety.

Adam opens the show discussing the ‘odyssey’ he had this weekend while traveling in the mid-west. He complains about locals not telling him the appropriate time to get to the airport, and how the theaters take all your money through their fees. Adam also rants about today’s youth and people yelling in hotel hallways at 6am.
Adam welcomes both Kirk Morrison, and Dr. Bruce to the show next. Adam talks with Kirk about having to change his NFL number, and some of the owner-player conflicts currently plaguing the league. Kirk and Dr. Bruce also discuss the life expectancy of a football player, and talk about performance enhancing drugs.
As Dr. Bruce moves into his medical news segment, he brings up the death of Osama Bin Laden. Adam is still waiting to discuss the heroism involved because he’s been burned too many times. The guys also debate what this will mean for airport security, and Adam wonders why Osama wasn’t sold out much sooner than now.
Discussing more medical news, Dr. Bruce describes a particularly graphic medical condition, and reveals the unfortunate news that flushing the toilet with the lid open will aerate your feces. The guys then cut live to CNN, streaming in front of the White House, and Adam predicts someone on the left will soon be on-air complaining about all the cheering in the US. Alison then wraps the show with news about the Royal Wedding, and the NATO airstrike that killed some of Gaddafi’s family.

Phil Rosenthal speaks to Adam about his love of Adam’s audiobook. Adam exchanges the love fest, and shares his enthusiasm for Phil’s latest project, ‘Exporting Raymond.’ The documentary follows Phil as he brings the successful series ‘Everybody Loves Raymond’ to a Russian audience, and tries to deal with execs who have no idea what is or isn’t funny.
Of course Adam relates to dealing with unhelpful studio notes, and shares his own thoughts on the difference between a show that’s ‘nice’ versus ‘funny’. The guys also discuss the importance of actually caring about the characters you’re investing in, and why it’s better to be real instead of broad. Phil gives Adam advice to make the show he wants, regardless of notes, since it’s likely they’ll cancel it anyway.
Moving on, Adam asks Phil about the movie screenings that he does at his house, and Phil explains that the tradition goes back to his high school days, having friends over to watch HBO movies on TV. Adam tells a particularly embarrassing story from when he had to leave one of Phil’s screenings early, and Phil encourages Adam’s self esteem.
Toward the end of the podcast, the guys talk about the benefits to being nice as you make your way through the industry. Adam also talks about watching Pixar films with the kids, and jokes about his nanny interpreting the lyrics to La Cucaracha. As the show wraps up, things come full circle to making sitcoms, and Phil says you have to pick your battles. Adam thanks Phil for his time, and looks forward to the next movie night.

Adam and Greg then jump into an improv, playing out realistic stripper names. Adam and Bald Bryan also debate the merits of Monopoly, and Adam reflects on some of his favorite podcast interviews.
Before jumping into the news, Alison announces a new series of Carolla videos on Huffington Post, and gives an update on the Tournament of Rosen. The guys discuss both the release of Obama’s birth certificate, and also Donald Trump’s ‘interview with himself’ about his impact on the day’s events. Alison also reads a story about a dead body misplaced on an airplane, which sends Adam into a huge rant about his Alaska Airlines woes.
In the last part of the show, Alison reveals the inventor of the teleprompter dies, and talks about the 10 Most Stressful Jobs. Adam and Greg discuss working over a hot grill at a fast food fryer, and wonder how stressful it really is to be a real estate agent.

Adam makes fun of the way Larry Miller is dressed today, and goes into a complaint he has from the weekend. Adam is ready to rant, right from the top of the show. He’s doing some work for Dancing with the Stars again, and can’t understand how many times he has to have the same conversation with the same people. Adam and Dr. Drew also discuss how being from the 70s makes you like older cars, older architecture, and older pornos. There’s also an extended conversation about Evel Knievel and Candy Loving.
Adam has Dr. Drew count off all the different shows that Dr. Drew is involved in right now, and Dr. Drew also talks about his kids performing in Beauty and the Beast for school. Adam talks to Dr. Drew about his kids’ self esteem, and how you have to earn it, as well as respect. They bring in some cultural elements as well—how different races react to earning respect—and Adam says he will convince his kids that they are not blessed or lucky.
During a break, Donny came in to talk to Dr. Drew about his posture for the Ustream feed, and now Adam gives him a hard time for slouching. The guys reflect what they would do in their Loveline days when producers would give them notes, and rant about horrible decisions being made all around them.
Adam and Dr. Drew then jump to the phones and talk to a guy trying to get his wife to do anal again, even though it hurt her the first time. The guys also talk about Charlie Sheen’s stage career, and give their thoughts on online dating. The last caller is concerned about his ability to have children as he grows older, and Adam wraps the show debating with Dr. Drew about whether or not gay couples really can raise their kids the same way straight couples can.

Adam just returned from one of his fastest trips ever: a red eye to NY to record a segment for his upcoming show on the Speed Channel, then back to LA the same evening. He talks a bit about the experience, and also thanks everyone for supporting his audio book. So much support, in fact, that Adam is going back and recording more material. He goes on a huge rant about trying to negotiate the deal with his publishers, and tries to rationalize why he has to tell everyone how to do their jobs properly.
Adam also talks about the official release of Josh Gardner’s album, Mr. Stinkfinger. Adam discusses how hilarious Josh is, and laughs at a few sample tracks. Be sure to get the album on iTunes, out now.

Adam opens the show discussing Morgan Spurlock’s latest documentary: Pom Wonderful Presents The Greatest Movie Ever Made. The movie is all about advertising and product placement, and Adam agrees that it’s distracting when you see a movie with a fake cereal or university name. The guys also talk about other documentaries that made them laugh, including Overnight and The Kid Stays in the Picture.
Adam talks to Morgan a bit more about his career, and the past 7 years since Super Size Me was released. Morgan discusses the inspiration for the doc, and the fast-tracked way in which they got the film to Sundance. They then jump back even earlier in Morgan’s career, and talk about working for free and pitching your ass off all for the small chance that you might get your break.
Adam and Morgan then discuss another project that Morgan is working on with Will Arnett and Jason Bateman about Male Grooming. The guys also talk about some of their favorite films, and go on a side jag about boring nature documentaries. The show wraps up with Adam and Morgan jumping onto the phone lines. They take calls about where Osama Bin Laden may be, when advertising crosses the line, and why certain companies resisted being in Morgan’s doc.
