They kick off the conversation by chatting about Tyler's mental exercises that were taught to him by a madman of a physical trainer. Tyler then discusses how those mental exercises led to a greater athletic output during his time playing soccer at Brown and how they eventually led him to the Amazon. It was in Ecuador where Tyler found the guayusa leaf, the leaf that would become the foundational element to his thriving business. Adam and Tyler close by discussing Tyler's experience with the native communities and all the crap in our energy drinks.

Adam then chats with J.D. about going from USC to the cover of Teen Beat Magazine with the hit show Wonderama. Adam and J.D. then talk work and how it's the only thing that anyone ever pays attention to. It doesn't matter how big of a genius you are or how creative you are, people pay attention to those that work. They then chat about JD's mantra "Do what you need to before the things you want to do." J.D. brings up the notion that luck has a volume. Meaning, the harder you work, the louder luck is. When you're not working luck walks quietly past. They wrap the show by discussing the notion of not being a necessity at work, and why being an option is the worst position you can be in in an employer's eyes.
