Jon Lovitz introduces the Ace Man himself, for his premiere show at The Jon Lovitz Comedy Club at Universal Citywalk. Mike Lynch is filling in for Bald Bryan, and Adam welcomes Alison Rosen and Dr. Drew to the stage. Dr. Drew talks about his recent recovery from illness after his second honeymoon, and the guys compare their experiences on the show ‘Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader’.

Adam talks about his own honeymoon with Lynette, and tells a classic Ray story. Dr. Drew also asks Adam about the experience of interviewing Fred Dryer, which Adam did earlier today. Alison then jumps into the news with a story about a guy sent to jail with 30 items shoved up his ass. She also talks about a literal cat burglar, and Adam retells his rant about his wife leaving the space heater on—only to leave the space heater on himself before leaving for tonight’s show.

Jeff Ross joins the stage next, and talks with Adam about his latest idea: Roast in Peace. The plan is to roast dead people, based on suggestions from his Twitter followers. Adam also talks about meeting Seth MacFarlane for lunch, only to see Frank Stallone there, eating his food at the same place. Adam and Jeff also discuss life on the road during the Man Show days, and share a story from the Writer’s Retreat.

Jeff then talks about the upcoming roast of Donald Trump for Comedy Central. He’s going on last, but explains his process of being fully prepared with jokes that come from unusual angles. Adam then wraps up the show with This Week In Rage—or, the Top 5 things that pissed Adam off most this week.

Adam, Alison and Bryan talk about growing up watching Saturday Night Live. Adam also talks about life back in the day while on tour with Dr. Drew, and the connection he feels they share. He and Alison also plan an elaborate asparagus pee test.

The top news story is that reporter Lara Logan is out of the hospital and recovering in her DC Home. The guys talk about the mental scars the experience will leave, and transition into a story about a Senator with emotional scars of his own. The guys also discuss a couple hair-related stories: one from Pantene, and one from UCLA.

Fred Armisen joins the show, and tells Adam he used to listen to him and Dr. Drew on Loveline back before he even knew what they looked like. Adam asks him about his earlier days in comedy, and the experience of auditioning for Saturday Night Live. Adam also tells the story of his hernia, and how Dr. Drew freaked him out about the recovery time.

The guys chat a bit more about Fred’s ability to mimic voices and do impersonations. They also go on a side jag about sympathizing with dictators, and play a quick round of Know Your SH. Adam and Fred also discuss the ‘half-homeless’ people in Portland, and comment on a news story about Coke’s Secret Formula. The show wraps with insane clips from Jersey Shore, and footage from the Best Bagger Championship.

Visit FredArmisen.com for more info on our guest, and be sure to watch Portlandia on IFC, Friday nights at 10:30pm.

Adam begins his 500th Episode complaining about the education system and having to spend too much money even before his kids hit first grade. Adam also talks about being late to his pitch meeting this morning, and the diaper emergency in the Carolla house.

Into the news with Alison, she discusses the amount of correspondents that have been killed or harmed since protests began in Egypt. Adam then chats with Scott Thompson about the Kids in the Hall theme song. Scott reminds Adam of his involvement with Crank Yankers, and how he was too nice to mess with people on the other line. They also talk about Scott’s early days in comedy, and discuss doing sketch comedy in Canada vs. North Hollywood.

Adam tries to convince Scott to rename ‘top and bottom’ to ‘tumbler and coaster.’ Scott also goes in depth about the time he had a threesome, and Adam tries to figure out how it all went down. Wrapping the show up, the guys talk about the difficulties of coming out of the closet, and the truth about people who gay bash.

Alison talks to Adam about not getting the ‘first day speech,’ and raises her concerns about leaving lipstick on the coffee mug last night in the studio. Before bringing in the guest, Alison then jumps into the news. The guys discuss the Grammy reporter who flubbed on the air, the Tiger Woods spitting scandal, and Esperanza Spalding’s win over Justin Bieber.

Next up, Adam welcomes Hollywood legend Hal Needham to the show. Adam talks to him about his work directing the film ‘Smokey and the Bandit,’ especially working with actors like Jackie Gleason and Burt Reynolds. They also talk about his days as the highest paid stuntman in the world, discussing his journey from Arkansas, to being a paratrooper, to blowing up cars trying to roll them.

Adam also asks Hal about his favorite ‘gags’ and the actors’ involvement in each stunt. Hal discusses his days living in Burt Reynolds’ guesthouse, and shares his thoughts on contemporary filmmaking packed with computer graphics and crappy remakes.

Adam jumps on the lines to hear your Valentine’s Day Nightmare stories. One caller phones in from a restaurant after being stood up, and another caller suggests relationships would be better if people agreed to not recognize Valentine’s Day from the get go.

Adam weaves in more questions about Hal’s stunt days, from rolling horses to racing the real Cannonball Run, to breaking the sound barrier. Adam also asks him about modifying cars for stunts, and discusses the classic film moment where the car jumps over the blown out bridge.
