SNL writer Hugh Fink joins the podcast at the top of Part 2. The guys continue the conversation about how food culture has changed over the years, and then Adam asks Hugh about his early days writing for Saturday Night Live. Hugh shares some behind the scenes stories of writing sketches and opening monologues, and the guys complain about bureaucracy getting in the way of comedy. Later, Hugh brings up some of his favorite SNL sketches, and the guys break down Quentin Tarantino’s bizarre on-stage singing, as well as some other weird ‘comedy’ performances. In the last part of the show, the guys watch a couple of classic Man Show sketches, and Gina reads news stories about Simone Biles, public schools reopening in the Fall, Lindsay Lohan, a new Willy Wonka prequel, and a drug dealer caught after showing off cheese.
