Today, Adam sits down with drummer Franklin Vanderbilt to talk about his infamous music career, drumming and touring with Lenny Kravitz and how he got to where he is today. Franklin, being from Chicago, has decided to begin his own school to help his city's kids with music programs and a place where they can express themselves. Adam and Franklin share stories about discipline and racial stereotypes that lead to victimization and communities creating excuses. Franklin Vanderbilt and the whole Lenny Kravitz band will be touring soon!
On today's show, professor Terry Giles calls in to talk to Adam about his lengthy career, from establishing one of the largest & most successful criminal law firms on the west coast to managing Dr. Ben Carson's 2016 Presidential campaign. Adam talks to him about the victimization and societal damage happening in the media today, as well as the infamous Hillside Strangler case in the late 1970s where Terry represented one of the accused killers. Mr. Giles' new book "The Fifteen Percent: Overcoming Hardships and Achieving Lasting Success" is available for preorder on Amazon and will release March 10th.
