Teresa recently received a blurb for her book from Dr. Drew. She talks with Adam about being nervous to ask for it, but eventually reads it out loud. Since Teresa’s book deals with parenting, she and Adam go into tons of details about their relationships with their parents. Adam also rants against working with a talk show personality who tried to take over his Loveline project with Dr. Drew, and talks about the time he told her to fuck off.

Patrick Warburton arrives just as the news opens up. He talks about his new movie Rockslide, but quickly jumps into an anecdote about racing cars against Adam. The top news story involves Miss Philippines, who suggested during the pageant that she’s never made a mistake. Adam, Teresa and Patrick all talk about the things that they regret, though for Adam it’s more about regretting not telling people off that he should have.

Everyone listens to an audio of the dumbest speech ever recorded at a beauty pageant, and also discuss the fallout of the Tiger Woods and Elin divorce. Adam talks about some of the ways money can make you happen, and questions with Patrick about what it would be like to date Tiger.

Patrick talks about the new car he just bought, and compares it to being with a ‘beautiful but damaged’ lady. Teresa mentions a story about a guy screaming at his bike, and it reminds Patrick of guys that are physically in love with their cars. Adam jokes about Jay Leno, and Patrick talks about racing against him in another race. Adam comments on Leno’s car shop, comparing it to the joys of vintage racing. To wrap up the show, Teresa tells a news story about an obsessive ex-boyfriend, and Patrick offers some interesting dating advice for the experienced sushi eater.

Rules of Engagement premieres Sept 20th on CBS.
