At the top of the show, Adam and Dr. Drew discuss some of the problems with producers who don’t let the talent do their jobs. Adam complains about the way they always dumb down their shows for the audience, and how you can’t even have ‘a heartbeat of silence.’ The guys also talk about their wives’ obsessions with terrible women on reality TV, and talk about the history of humans’ ‘sacrificial impulse.’
The guys then jump to the phone lines to give listeners some relationship advice. The first caller spent some time with an ex-girlfriend and it just didn’t feel right, and the next caller has a super hot girlfriend who he has no longer has a sex drive for. In both cases, Adam and Dr. Drew agree that the callers need to move on, and do that as swiftly as possible.
In the second half of the show, Adam talks about a variety of frustrating interactions he had with famous women, that Dr. Drew was also a witness to. First, he talks about several maddening conversations with Black Eyed Peas front woman Fergie, and then he talks about an argument he had with Kelly Osbourne over WWII. Lastly, he talks about a panelist he recently talked to on Dr. Drew’s show, who was shocked Adam couldn’t remember that they were intimate together.
The guys then talk about the death of former Celebrity Rehab patient Jeff Conway. Dr. Drew expresses his sadness, as Jeff appeared to be making some progress in the last couple of weeks. Adam asks where Dr. Drew thinks that drug companies fall when it comes to substance abuse, and if they actually benefit from selling massive amounts of pills to people who can’t control themselves. The show then comes full circle as the guys discuss how the government needs to get out of the way, and let the trained professionals do their jobs.

Adam’s first call is a long one, but he and the caller discuss a variety of different topics. First, the guys talk about Albert Brooks, and how comedy can be used to actually say something important. The caller also asks Adam how advertising works behind the scenes of ACE Broadcasting, and what the daily schedule is like. Additionally, the caller happens to be a motivational speaker, and helps Adam find a different way to communicate to his wife so she’ll rinse out the coffee mugs.
The next caller wants to know which cars are best for picking up chicks. Another asks Adam about his favorite comedians. Adam also talks about a bad dream he had about mounting tires, but that actually led to him waking up feeling fine. Adam then gives some romantic advice to a guy trying to seal the deal with a stripper.
As Adam continues his way down the call lines, he speaks to someone who noticed radio-controlled airplanes in a photo of Ace’s garage. The caller wants to know how Adam got into them, and Adam expresses his passion for them even to this day. In the last part of the show, Adam talks about some of his worst crashes, and a particularly awkward exchange when the plane landed in his neighbor’s yard.

Adam has a nerdy heart to heart with Bald Bryan about the pronunciations of certain major sci-fi franchises, and how awful the film Thor was. Adam then rants about the multiple missed phone calls from Molly’s vet that made him worry for no reason, and complains about people who show up too early to parties.
Alison opens the news with a story about how hurricanes are named each year, and the guys discuss whether certain nationalities would want their names included on that list. Steve Martin was also recently in the news for being the victim of art fraud, and Adam tries to decide if he likes him or not. Later, Adam goes on a rant about his wife always leaving a ring of coffee in her mug, and tries to understand why people ‘spend more calories arguing than absorbing.’

Things are followed up with a round of Gaywalking, where the group votes whether or not the gay guys interviewed can answer ‘straight-guy questions’. First up, Adam sits down for a quick phone call with former Daily Show correspondent Rob Riggle. During the call, the guys talk about the new webseries Rob hosts: The AXE Dirtcathlon. Adam thinks it’s remarkable that we’re the only species that chooses to get dirty for fun, and talks to Rob about his transition from being a Marine to being on The Daily Show. The guys also talk about the ‘jock bias’ they’ve both experienced on set.
Things then transition to last night’s performance at the Irvine Improv. Adam is ready to welcome Christopher Titus, but first spends some time discussing his weekend in San Francisco. More specifically, Adam talks about an aggravating meal at the House of Nanking, and also his experience seeing a gay flag at half-mast. Adam also rants about his Subway breakfast sandwich, and brings Titus out to talk about some rough performing experiences over the last couple days.
Moving into the news with Alison, Sarah Palin has officially apologized for taking some press away from the day Mit Romney announced his run for presidency. Titus talks about just wanting to have a normal guy as president, and Adam suggests an emotionless robot for the job. The guys also watch a clip of Palin trying to explain the story of Paul Revere, and then the guys try to recall the story themselves.
Another news story sends Adam on a rant about how difficult it is to open plastic packaging. The guys also talk about the passing of Dr. Kevorkian by natural causes, and the idea of assisted suicide. The final news story raises the question, ‘Are Smurfs racist?’ The show wraps up with a round of What Can’t Adam Complain About, where the audience member who challenges Adam the most gets a free poster.

They also talk about Anthony Weiner’s response to the claims that he sent a picture of his junk to an old flame, and discuss the Canadian couple who won’t reveal the gender of their baby. Adam is convinced there must be zero problems in this society if this is what we’re all concerned with.
Next up is a story about people who are angry about circumcision, and are suggesting it should be up to the kid to decide. They also discuss Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg’s claims that he is only eating animals that he personally kills. The news is then followed by an all-staff edition of What Can’t Adam Complain About.
Today’s guest is James Tupper, who stars alongside Jim Carrey in the new film Mr. Popper’s Penguins. Adam also recalls that James was at his house back when he was renovating it, and the guys talk dirty about carpentry. He talks about being booed as an American touring Europe during the beginning phases of the Iraq War, which starts Adam off on a jag about why people resent the one’s trying to help them. Eddie then talks about a bad experience he had after eating a pot brownie, and how the drug altered his perception of life around him.
